The Location
Moogerah Lake
We’ll be staying at the gorgeous five-star Lake House at Moogerah Lake, Only 1hr from Brisbane and 1 hr 45min from Toowoomba. With swim-up bar, sauna, spa, gorgeous views, fireplace, aircon, theatre room, Sleeping Duck beds and floor-to-ceiling windows, this place is luxurious!
It provides the perfect atmosphere to create connections and have time to yourself.
What to Expect
Wednesday
Arrivals from 4pm with celebratory strawberries & champagne. Followed by Yoga to get the body into our retreat rhythm. Dinner and wine is served as we watch the sun set over Lake Moogerah (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian options available). Followed by the Firepit Experience as we say goodbye to past habits. Ending the evening relaxing in the sauna, spa, pool and swim-up bar.
Thursday
An unforgettable experience of yoga on stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) at sunrise. Option to sleep in instead. After breakfast, we have a wellness hour, where we create a game plan for food, fitness, supplements, sleep, mobility and more. We then adventure outdoors on SUPs and kayaks to hidden rock cliffs and enjoy a fresh picnic lunch. Relax in the afternoon with either movie & popcorn in the theatre or cheese, wine & lake views. We are served an exquisite evening feast, followed by Under the Stars - a few hours of pampering. Imagine candles & fairy lights, breathwork & meditation, sauna & spa, fluffy robes & facemasks, bubbly drinks & bite-sized desserts all served under a blanket of stars.
Friday (Toowoomba Show Holiday)
We stretch and foam roll in the morning, then linger over breakfast and coffee. We then soak up our Australian nature on a 2-3 hour Mt Edwards hike (optional) and complete our retreat carrying a strengthened bond into the year ahead.

The Host
Personal Trainer Madeline (10 years experience) leads yoga, foam rolling, breathwork, stretching plus all things outdoors - kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and hiking.
Past Retreats
2023 Reset Retreat at Cabarlah - we created a beautiful mix of restorative sessions. Pottery class, massages, energy healing session, ice bath, journalling, pilates and health coaching.
2025 Hike Retreat at Mt Barney - our 7.5 hour epic hike was life-changing. This retreat balanced movement and stillness in nature with no devices. Plenty of laughs and connection time drinking wine on the deck, paddling through the nearby creek and sleeping in the afternoon.

Lake Retreat is a wellness retreat for women who are wanting to create a vibrant life of joy, adventure and connection. We aim to be a place that supports the mind, body and soul.
This retreat has been designed by women for women, who believe that movement, wellbeing and nature go hand in hand.
Lake retreat honours activity on water, in the bush, and on land. Celebrating the joy of life and all that a healthy body allows us to do.
Life is a gift, so we choose to live to the full by eating well, kayaking, hiking, relaxing, laughing and stillness.

Wednesday starts from 4pm with strawberries & champagne on arrival, followed by yoga to get the body into our weekend rhythm. After dinner we relax into our evening with laughs, drinks and dessert overlooking the lake. Ending the night with a Firepit Letting Go ritual.
Thursday begins with either Sunrise Yoga on the lake or a sleep in until breakfast.
Next is the Game Plan hour - we create a strategy to make this year this most healthy, strong, fit, calm and joyous yet!
We then head to the lake for kayaking and stand up paddleboarding to hidden rock cliffs. Returning to the bank for a picnic lunch and sleep, sunbake or read at the water’s edge.
The afternoon is your choice of movie & popcorn in the theatre, or cheese & wine on the deck.
We come together for a delicious, nutrient-dense meal at 5pm, followed by our Under the Stars evening. During these 2 ½ hours of immersive wellness and pampering, you’ll experience a deep relaxation in both body and mind. A combination of body balance, breathwork, meditation, spa, sauna, clay face masks, swim up bar, dessert and star gazing.
Friday (Toowoomba Show Holiday) we have a slightly later morning start with stretching and foam rolling, or simply sitting with a coffee on the deck. After a delicious breakfast that will inspire healthy nutrition long after the retreat is over, we hike Mt Edwards. When we finish (around 12am - 1pm) we say goodbye inspired to live a vibrant, joy-filled life for the rest of 2026.
*The hike is optional. You’re welcome to leave at 9am. If so, checking out Karoomba’s vineyard and lavendar farm on your way home, would be a lovely end to this retreat!

Fitness, strength and mobility make life much more enjoyable!
We can hold our balance on a SUP, we can easily go for a 3hr hike without concern, we can appreciate the nature around us instead of trying to “get through it”.
So take advantage of the Training Program, the Practice Hikes, the Wellness Strategy sessions and begin creating a body you love, right now!
Once your retreat ticket has been purchased, you’ll have a chat with Maddie, your Training program and Meal plan will be written and app access granted.
You’ll receive invites to the monthly group (for Maddie’s clients) hikes around Toowoomba. You’ll also receive invites to the group Wellness sessions.

Mt Edwards is a 2-3 hour hike from the Lake House. This requires moderate fitness levels, so please ensure prior training. It is optional.

We're prepared as the lake house is perfectly set up to entertain and delight in every weather scenario!
Light drizzle means we'll continue to SUP in our swimmers, but go home for lunch. We’ll continue with the Under the Stars experience without the star gazing.
Heavy rain transforms our Lake House into a wellness sanctuary with energising yoga, hands-on kombucha making, boxing, Pilates, pottery, journaling workshop, and plenty of relaxation time.

We have private and shared accommodation at this retreat.
Share space with like-minded souls in a communal setting. Have a look at the photos under “Location” heading. First in first served basis - with Queen or Single beds and bunks.
Limited private King and Queen rooms for $1600. Again first in has first room choice.

All dietary requirements are easily accommodated. All food is gluten and dairy free, with vegetarian options available.

Yes, alcohol is provided at both dinners. We are a bit partial to a glass of wine as we watch the sunset!

We love our kids here at Vita Body and understand that they’re a huge part of many people’s journeys! However, in the interest of managing our community, we do need to advise that our retreats are designed for ages 16 years and over. Therefore, children of any age under 16 are not permitted to be present.

There is WiFi available over the entire property. However, we highly encourage devices to be turned off for the 3 days, to fully escape and reset yourself.

Wednesday check-in is available from 4pm, perfect for fitting in a half work day and arriving relaxed and ready to unwind.
Friday we check-out at 9am and head to Mt Edwards for a 2-3 hike. We will say goodbye around 12 noon.
If you choose to skip the hike we recommend visiting nearby Karoomba lavender farm and vineyard on your way home!
Friday is a public holiday in Toowoomba (Show Holiday).

Once the 50% deposit is made to secure your spot, the second payment will be deducted from your account the following week.
